Who we are
The Christ Over Islam project is a non-denominational media company aimed at targeting Muslim countries/regions that persecute Christians.
We use clear, minimalist advertisements and leverage the value of the dollar to target large numbers of Muslim youth. The hope is to de-radicalize and secularize before anything else. Though we still ultimately aim to convert their hearts, a little bit of sympathy sown today will reap a better future for our fellow Christians.
My Story
My name is Alexander Ramos. I am a Christian, and for as long as I can remember, some of my closest friendships have crossed oceans and borders. One of those friends was Emmanuel—a young Nigerian boy with a sharp mind, a warm heart, and a sense of humor that could cut through any argument. Week after week, we debated history and politics, laughing as much as we learned.
One day, Emmanuel told me he was traveling to the countryside to visit his grandmother. Then, suddenly, he went silent. I told myself it was nothing—poor signal, a broken phone, life getting in the way. Days turned into weeks. Weeks into months.
When his birthday arrived, the silence was no longer something I could ignore. Where there had once been conversation, there was only absence. I began searching for answers. What I found changed me forever. Emmanuel had been killed during a violent persecution of Christians in northern Nigeria.
In that moment, grief hardened into resolve. I promised myself that his life would not be reduced to a statistic or forgotten in the noise of the world. I realized that while I could do little alone, together—with others who refuse to look away—we could do something meaningful. And from that day forward, I knew I had to act.
We chose an LLC instead of a non-profit because we aim to maintain anonymity for our own safety by running ads through shell companies. This will also help us advertise in nations with more regulatory censorship like Egypt or Pakistan, in these countries one company will quickly be put down. We need the flexibility of forming multiple subsidiaries to consistently advertise and bypass regulators.
We may one day restructure into a non-profit but for the time being an LLC makes more sense.
